The hymn this Sunday is one that was on my husband's heart. We have been praying for someone who is struggling mightily, and the words Mrs. Walter G. Taylor penned over one hundred years ago give perfect expression to those prayers.
Unfortunately I couldn't find any biographical information on this dear lady. We were disappointed. It seemed to us there must have been an amazing story connected to such inspired writing. On the other hand, perhaps it is a story common to all of us:
