A Holy Lord

I walked, clutching my little spiral book of index cards filled with my memory verses, reciting those I had already learned by heart:

“Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is put out of sight! Yes, what joy for those whose record the Lord has cleared of guilt, whose lives are lived in complete honesty!” Psalm 32: 1,2 (NLT)

I thought about living life in complete honesty. Am I living that way? Do I come before the Lord with open heart and confess my sins – even the ones hidden in the darkest corners of my heart?

The rest of this devotional is here, at Laced With Grace. Please join me there?

Blessings,
Linda

  2. Linda, I just loved your devotional, and as I said over there, I love how the NLT brought that passage to life, making you wonder about living life in "complete honesty" before God. And you, in turn, made me think about it, too. Powerful. Humbling. Wonderful.

  4. Linda,
I just wanted to stop by and say hello. I have missed you! This new year is flying by, it seems. Jeff started two new jobs and I added a day at the hospital. I don't have as much time to bloggy visit so much! But I have been thinking of you, praying for you and your family. Your comments always make me smile. It's nice to know that you are here.

Now, I must go read that devotional!
