The Heavens Proclaim - Days 13 and 14

We long to hear His voice, to know that He is with us. We have but to step outside our doors and "listen" with our eyes. His voice rings out through creation, and we know the wonder of who He is.

The heavens proclaim the glory of God.
    The skies display his craftsmanship.
Day after day they continue to speak;
    night after night they make him known.
They speak without a sound or word;
    their voice is never heard.
Yet their message has gone throughout the earth,
    and their words to all the world.
God has made a home in the heavens for the sun.
It bursts forth like a radiant bridegroom after his wedding.
    It rejoices like a great athlete eager to run the race.
The sun rises at one end of the heavens
    and follows its course to the other end.
    Nothing can hide from its heat.
  Psalm 19

This is just a bit of what He spoke on my walk today. It leaves me speechless.

Joining my friends Sandy and Deidra again this weekend.

  1. Amen, Linda. Amen. We left the house this morning before dawn and caught the sun rising over the dike around Lake Okeechobee (I'm posting two of the photos for my Sunday post in the morning) and to think that God brings that to us every single day....and unless we get outside and pay attention...we will miss it. Our God is an awesome God. Have a beautiful weekend, Linda. Love, Patricia

  2. Linda, it's been a long time since I've 'visited.' First, I love the look of your site--so clean. And the quilt banner photo is lovely. It brings a smile to my face to see '31 Days of Seeking God.' I love your heart.

  3. I've enjoyed catching up just now. Busy getting ready for company.

  4. Oh yes. I'm enjoying this color as ours is disappearing, giving way to brown and beige. Yet I can listen with my eyes and still see the wonder in that.

  5. I agree... He leaves me speechless too, Linda! :)
