My Mom, knowing that there really was nothing to be said or done to make things better, picked up this little guy for me. Somehow, this grown up Grandmother found solace in this warm, furry little body.

Hi Linda!
ReplyDeleteI love my teddie bears! It gets a little warm during the summer months... but all fall, winter and spring, Honey Bear and Sweetie Bear are great to hug :o)
love your recent posts, Linda! your grandchildren certainly do love you!
...and I wonder what kind of bird visited your birdbath! Very different looking. This summer I identified a Yellow shafted flicker. It was so different looking... Wild Birds Unlimited helped me identify him by emailing a photo!
Enjoy the new week ~ God bless you dear ♥

ps. thank you ~ thank you for your sweet well wishes too!
Something about a mother's gift.
ReplyDeleteI carried a stuffed animal with me clear through college. There's something really special about those furry little critters -- especially when they come from your mama. :-)
ReplyDeletewe are never too old for a teddy, eh?
ReplyDeleteWe try to be, but needn't.
Moms are so good at knowing just what we need and when we need it, huh?
ReplyDeleteTeddy's are the best to hug, next to your own dog. Lovely thoughts.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Janis
