Breaking

When I am content
with the me I am,
When I am discouraged
with the me I have become,
You begin the process
of taking it all apart -
the breaking,
the tearing,
the uprooting,
the cleansing,
the filling,
the putting back together
That I might be
more like Him.

  4. I love the spiritual message. God is always helping us grow to become more than who we are now. Very nice!

  5. I loved the list,

    "the breaking,
    the tearing,
    the uprooting,
    the cleansing,
    the filling,
    the putting back together"

and then, ending with Him. As a Christian, a Christ follower, this resonates. A lovely One Shot!

  12. Some times one likes to become what one has around oneself... some times one likes to change people around us.. but the most effective is the times when you desire, aspire to be changed by some one you love...

  15. I know this process well, and yet it seems to never be complete...one day we will awake and look Him full in the face, because we will be like Him...until then, from glory to glory. Your words shine with it! Blessings on your journey.
