Thankful for Beauty and the Word

I am thankful - for the Living Word and the way He writes it across my days:

"I am the rose of Sharon, the lily of the valleys."
Song of Solomon 2:1

"For you will go out with joy, and be led forth with peace; the mountains and the hills will break forth into shouts of joy before you, and the trees of the field will clap their hands."
Isaiah 55:12

"And God called the dry land earth, and the gathering of the waters He called seas; and God saw that it was good."
Genesis 1:10

"The moon and stars to rule by night, for His lovingkindness is everlasting.
Psalm 136:10

"Are not two sparrows sold for a cent? And yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father."
Matthew 10:29

"Truly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not arisen anyone greater than John the Baptist; yet he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he."
Matthew 11:11

"And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4:19

"As the deer pants for the water brooks, so my soul pants for Thee, O God."
Psalm 42:1

"He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty."
Psalm 91:1

  1. Wonderful verses and pictures. The picture of the little fawn is so sweet; I'm glad it knows where to find water.

  2. This is beautiful. I love how you set it up. I know it takes time to match scripture with photos, but the result is so worth it for the one creating the post and those reading it.

My present post is about learning and using God's Word in our lives and it coincides with yours nicely.

My goal is to be able to say certain scriptures when I need them without having to look them up.

I clicked on the sparrow pic to see it better and smiled to see all the little sparrows. Great shot.

Actually they all are wonderful photos--a blessing this morning, Linda, as I begin a busy week.

  3. All wonderful, uplifting scriptures. I'm so glad the little fawn has found a watering hole.

  4. Some of my very favorite verses sweet lady! The photos are so great and add a dimension for me that seals these in my mind. Blessings and see you later on in July I hope!

  5. Oh Linda... what a wonderful way of listing your gifts. Love all the verses. Love all the photos! Such beautiful blessings! :)

  6. Linda! These photos are precious! And, grateful. Oh, my, what would we do without the Word. And beauty too.

  7. The little fawn is so precious.

You've combined the photos and verses so well.

  8. Such wonderful pictures to go with the words in the verses! Absolutely perfect!! How precious is that one of the baby deer drinking from the fountain? God has certainly made sure we're all taken care of:-) xoxo
