Still Saturday - After the Storm

"The sound of 'gentle stillness' after all the thunder and wind have passed will be the ultimate Word from God."
Jim Elliot

Joining my dear friend Sandy this beautiful Saturday morning.

  1. and the rainbow to remind us of the great hope...he never leaves us...there in the storm and there in the after...

  2. What a wonderful quote and promise.

  3. "Gentle stillness." Yes. Love that... and that beautiful rainbow!

  4. Linda,
I'm off work this week so before I start my day, I decided to check my emails and the few blogs I read every day. I had to scroll down yours and start my day with that "This is my Father's World" song. Well, my battery has had a great jump start! I think I'm gonna save that to my favorites and play it every day. I wish I could have been in that church for that song. I'm so glad I have access to this blog. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I will probably not ever meet you here on earth, but one day we'll meet in heaven and we can sing together, "This is My Father's Heaven--and we thought His world was something".
    Love you!

    1. Dear Ann,
I don't know how else to get in touch with you, so I hope you'll come back and check here.
Thank you more than I can say for your very kind words. You have blessed and encouraged me so much.
I'm thrilled that the music has ministered to you in such a deep way. It is exactly what Tommy Walker and our music minister, Ray Jones, prayed it would do.
You can find more of the hymns we recorded on youtube here:

      Have a blessed Thanksgiving Ann.
      With love,
