Sunday

"For the beauty of the earth,
For the glory of the skies;
For the love which from our birth,
Over and around us lies;
Lord of all, to Thee we raise
This, our hymn of grateful praise."

Folliet S. Pierpoint

I think I remember learning that song in junior high glee club and have always loved it.

Also, I had wondered if these were the Texas bluebonnets we hear so much about. If they are wildflowers, do they become a pest in pastures, etc. I know we have a weed called "buttercup" and people who don't have them think our fields are beautiful but to a farmer they ruin a pasture for a period of time in the spring.

Singing along. I'd love to see bluebonnets up close and personal.

Sang along as I looked at the flowers. Loverly, to say the least.

Those blue bonnetts are just about to break my heart (my mother's maiden name was Bonnett, how about that?).

I think you are already amazing too, my friend.
