"O God, You are my God; I shall seek You earnestly;
My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You,
In a dry and weary land where there is no water."
Psalm 63:1
We are in the midst of a drought that has lasted far too long. When I turned on the sprinkler, which has been idle all winter, they came.

Yes. Far too long.
ReplyDeleteHow good to know that God is there, even when we are so thirsty.
ReplyDeleteThat must have felt very good to them.
ReplyDeleteAnd wonder of all wonders, we can turn on the sprinkler with the mere flipping open of a Book.
ReplyDeleteIt's been a dry March for us too, but we have snow melting for moisture.
Blessings.
I am like those birds: needing to drink more of His water.
ReplyDeleteOur drought has been tough. And I've been a history-oriented person, and know that drought can cause much, much. ONLY OUR LORD can get us through this.
ReplyDeleteGood Words, photos, sharings.
Bless our day...
